The Brahman breed has long been criticized for a number of deficiencies in the end product, the carcass!
At Kallion Farms through the use of the new tools available to the industry, we have concentrated intense efforts to improve the image of the Brahman influenced end product, the carcass.

To date, we have documented improvements of nearly one full degree of marbling in harvested steer offspring and 20 to 25% improvement in tenderness through harvested siblings to the bulls and females in our breeding program.
